SAT and Acqua Surgiva together to safeguard Trentino’s glaciers

Gruppo Lunelli mineral water supports the activities of the Glaciological Commission of the Società degli Alpinisti Tridentini (Tridentini Mountaineers Society)

SAT and Surgiva kick off a three-year collaboration aimed at supporting the activities of the Glaciological Commission, a subject to which the Gruppo Lunelli’s mineral water, which comes from the Adamello glacier in the heart of the Adamello Brenta Natural Park, has always been particularly sensitive.

The Società degli Alpinisti Tridentini is the largest section of the CAI (Club Alpino Italiano) and has around 27,000 members in Trentino. As well as managing 5,500 km of trails and 34 mountain huts, it promotes numerous cultural activities, mountaineering courses and initiatives in schools.

The partnership was presented on Tuesday, 20th June at the House of SAT in Trento in the presence of SAT president, Anna Facchini; the president of the SAT Glaciological Commission, Cristian Ferrari; and Gruppo Lunelli’s Communications and External Relations director, Camilla Lunelli.

Acqua Surgiva’s support will be directed towards the activity of the SAT Glaciological Commission, which has set up an analysis system to monitor the state and extension of Trentino’s glaciers. The study was previewed during the press conference.
